History was made at the Toyota Gazoo Racing 1000 Desert Race by Gareth Woolridge and Boyd Dreyer, who claimed the victory in their NWM Ford Castrol T1+ Ranger after three days of extremely tough racing. Followed by their teammates, Lance Woolridge and Kenny Gilbert, who finished second in an identical vehicle, and team Toyota Gazoo Racing DKR Hilux T1+, led by Guy Botterill and Simon Vacy-Lyle, claiming the third position.
