One of the highlights of the festival was the fascinating Cultural Dance Night, where performers from diverse cultural backgrounds took centre stage to showcase the rich tapestry of Botswana’s heritage.
The Khawa Dune Challenge offered a variety of heart-pounding activities to satisfy every appetite for adventure. Participants embraced the thrill of the desert landscape, pushing the limits of exploration and excitement with exhilarating camel rides across the sandy terrain, adrenaline-fueled Fund Quad Rides, 4×4 Obstacle Challenge, 500 km and 250 km Khawa Challenge by automobiles and motorbikes, Sand Volleyball, and Horse Race.
At the core of the festival was a dedication to supporting local businesses and artists, whose ingenuity and skill contributed a distinct flavour to the event. From vivid arts and crafts markets to tantalising food stalls offering a taste of Botswana’s culinary delights, attendees were able to enjoy a one-of-a-kind shopping experience.
